NAC 2024

Greetings from Vijayawada & Guntur!!
The All India Difficult Airway Association has grown from strength to strength over the last decade with over 1200 members today. Over these 14 years, we have been consistently disseminating knowledge and skills of airway management across various sections of the anaesthesia fraternity. AIDAA has strived hard to achieve international recognition among various organizations across the globe. In 2016, AIDAA laid the 1st Indian guidelines for airway management that has been a guide to many anaesthesiologists across the country.

Airway management has and will be an integral part of the anaesthesia training and a safe, predictable airway management requires experts who are comprehensively equipped, highly trained, and regularly drilled. AIDAA stresses the need for hands-on workshops on a routine basis that would strengthen and reinforce the knowledge gained. Exposure to newer gadgets keeps anaesthesiologists updated with the latest and helps in better management of the airway during a crisis.

Airway management is also now a part of POCUS and the ubiquitous presence of ultrasound increases the ability of the anaesthesiologist to serve patients more comprehensively. This September 2024 the town famous for its weaving and handloom, Mangalagiri, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh is all set to host the 15th National Airway Conference at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences. It is to be held on the 20th – 22nd of September with a preconference workshop on day 1 followed by 2 days of academic feast by eminent national and international faculties who are experts in the field of airway management. The workshops will focus on hands-on training with 60 delegates per workshop.

The National Executive Committee of AIDAA India and the local organising committee look forward to deliver a conference of the highest standard with respect to academic content, teaching by renowned faculties, entertainment with some famous cuisine of Andhra Pradesh.
